Students Engage In National Poster Contest Against Binge Drinking

Students engage in national poster contest against binge drinking

bunt statt blau (colorful instead of blue) art competition

About the competition:

Over 6,000 students participated in the 2020 bunt statt blau art competition against binge drinking. The competition is organized by DAK-Gesundheit, a German health insurance company, and is part of their 250th anniversary celebration. The competition has been running for 15 years and is designed to raise awareness about the dangers of binge drinking and promote healthy lifestyles.

The competition was open to students aged 12 to 17, and the winners were selected by a jury of experts in the fields of art, health, and education. The winning posters will be used in a nationwide campaign to promote the message of bunt statt blau.

Melanie Huml, Bavaria's Minister of Health, and DAK-Gesundheit launched the 2020 bunt statt blau campaign with the goal of educating young people about the dangers of binge drinking and promoting healthy lifestyles.
